It was indeed a time of jubilation as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) has won the presidential election in Cross Rivers State which lead by an All Progressive Party (APC) Governor, Ben Ayade
According to PUNCH, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is currently leading in the total announced votes across the country came second in the Cross Rivers polls while Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the People’s Democratic Party came a distant third.
