Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, the 14th Emir of Kano, was all shades of royalty as he graced an event in Lagos on Saturday, April 29.
According to a report by Daily Trust, the monarch was a special guest at a dinner hosted by Herbert Wigwe, Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank.

Sanusi attends an event in Lagos
Sanusi attended the dinner hours after Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, leader of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), said the issue that led to his dethronement would be revisited by the incoming NNPP administration.
Sanusi, who became emir in the final term of Kwankwaso as governor, was dethroned by outgoing Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, who was deputy governor at the time the monarch was installed.

The February 25, presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has revealed the task of the incoming administration of Kano state.
Kwakwaso has assured that the incoming government in Kano state will revisit the dethronement of Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, 14th Emir of Kano.
Recall that Sanusi, who became emir in the final term of Kwankwaso as governor, was dethroned by outgoing Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, who was deputy governor at the time the monarch was installed.

A House of Representatives member-elect, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has said that politicians within the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) have taught their colleagues in the All Progressives Congress (APC) a lesson.
Jibrin while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, which was monitored by Hotnewsdrop.com said some aggrieved members of the APC who joined the NNPP taught those in the ruling party and Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state lessons during the 2023 general election.
The NNPP defeated the ruling APC during the March 18 governorship election in the state.
