We Have It On Good Authority That The Result In Lagos Was Doctored To Reduce Obi’s Votes -Akinyemi Onigbinde

It is no longer news that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos state, was named the winner of the general elections in 2023.

Asiwaju Tinubu was proclaimed the winner of the election on February 25 by the Independent National Electoral Commission. The All Progressive Congress candidate defeated Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party by garnering more than eight million votes, according to INEC chairman.

Akinyemi Onigbinde, a professor of political philosophy and expert in public policies, politics, and governance, claimed during an exclusive interview with Sunday Tribune paper that Peter Obi’s victory in Lagos state was rigged.

He claimed that the general elections in Lagos were rigged to lower Peter Obi’s support from the Labour Party (LP).

According to him, “We have reliable information that Peter Obi’s vote total was drastically reduced in Lagos.”
