Don’t Swear In Tinubu – Protesters Say As They Storm Appeal Court To Stop Tinubu’s Inauguration

Reports say that a group of protesters had stormed the Appeal Court in Abuja, seeking the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal to stop the inauguration ceremony of the President-Elect and presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

If you recall vividly, the electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC had declared the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, winner of the 2023 presidential election after polling a total of 8,794,726 votes to defeat his closet rivalry, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party with a total votes of 6,984,520.

However, according to the Channel’s Television, these protesters, who preferred to be called the coalition of civil societies, had urged the court to stop the inauguration ceremony which is scheduled to hold on May 29th, on the premise that there are still several pending issues involving the APC presidential candidate.
