Reactions As APC Breaks Silence On Zoning Of The 10th National Assembly, Reveals Their Candidates

The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC has finally broken silence regarding the zoning of the 10th National Assembly, where they noted that they have finally made a resolution regarding the preferred candidates for both the senate president and the speaker for the house of representatives.

According to the social media handle of the APC, they revealed that after consultation with both the president-elect and the National Working Committee, alongside other stakeholders, they have made the zoning arrangements for the senate president to go to the south south with Senator Godswill Akpabio as the candidate, and Senator Barau Jibrin as the deputy senate president while for the speaker house of representatives will go to the North West in Honourable Abass Tajudeen and the deputy speaker as Honourable Ben Kalu.

However, some Nigerians have taken to the social media space to react to such a development, where one user particularly pointed out that it was a great development, as he hopes to see the best to come for all other contributing regions of the country.

While there were some who supported the zoning arrangements, some expressed displeasure, where one user particularly inquired why the North Central had been excluded, stressing it was unfair to the region.
