The Ruling Party Benefited From Anti-Party In The Last Election And It Was Warning Its Members-Sani

Shehu Sani is a senator from Nigeria, as well as an author, playwright, and advocate for human rights. He is the Chairman of Hand-in-Hand, Africa and the President of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria (CRCN). He was a key player in the fight to bring back democracy in Nigeria.

According to Shehu Sani, the opposition party helped the ruling party win the previous election, and now it is cautioning its members against doing the same in the NASS leadership elections.

Shehu Sani said, “The opposition party helped the ruling party win the previous election, and now it is cautioning its members to refrain from doing the same in the NASS leadership polls.”

Sani has been detained and imprisoned in Nigeria by previous military governments. When democracy was reinstated in Nigeria in 1999, he was liberated from life in jail.
