Court Declared Adeleke As The Governor Of Osun State

The Supreme Court on Tuesday declared the election of Ademola Adeleke as the governor of Osun State. The Supreme Court asserted that Gboyega Oyetola and All Progressives Congress (APC) were unable to establish its prosecution of incorrect accreditation of voters and over-voting against Adeleke.

It is no longer news that Gboyega Oyetola, the All Progressive Congress gubernatorial candidate of Osun State has documented petitions against Adeleke’s victory in the 2022 gubernatorial election.

According to Vanguard on Tuesday, the Supreme began hearing the petition documented by the party.

After so much deliberation, the Supreme Court in their judgment has declared Ademola Adeleke of the People Democratic Party as the winner of the election.

The Davido’s Uncle won at the polling unit with a total vote of 403,371 while Gboyega Oyetola was able to secure a total vote was 375,027.

We wish the judiciary will proceed on this right path with uprightness and fairness, and allow for a steady judicial operation in our system.
