I Joined APGA Because Of Peter Obi, Then I Later Left APGA And Followed Him To Labour Party – Ogene

Victor Ogene, Member-elect, House of Representatives talked with the media about the politics of Nigeria. While Victor Ogene was talking with the media, he narrated his political history to the media and several other things relating to his political life.

Victor Ogene said that he joined the APGA because of Peter Obi, and that was when Peter Obi was the governor of Anambra state. In his words, he said “I joined the APGA because of Peter Obi, then I later left the APGA and joined the Labour party immediately after he joined the Labour party to contest for presidency”.

“We joined him on board when he was the governor of Anambra state, we worked together, and did many things together. We also follow him on board because of his personality, his competence and the type of person he is, some might call it godfatherism”.

Undoubtedly, because of the influence of Peter Obi, Victor Ogene was able to win his election to become a member-elect of the house of representatives in Nigeria.
