Bayo Onanuga Reveals What Nigerians Should Expect In The First 10 Days Of Bola Tinubu As President

A key member of the Media Subcommittee of the Presidential Transition Council and former director, media and publicity of the defunct All Progressives Congress (APC’s) Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga has revealed what Nigerians should expect in the first 10 days of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Recall that former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress defeated Atiku Abubakar and other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the election held on the 25th of February, 2023 to clinch the apex political seat in the country.

The presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are currently challenging the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja. The presidential election Tribunal commenced sitting last Monday to hear the cases by the parties.

Bayo Onanuga in an exclusive interview with Daily Trust paper said; “By the time the president-elect is sworn in, we expect that he would announce some of his key officers. Of course, in the first 10 days he will also promulgate the National Assembly so that they can elect their leaders. I think he would be making some very strategic appointments”

The media aide to Bola Ahmed Tinubu added; “I cannot say for sure whether his list of ministers would be ready in 10 days, but I am sure he is working at it and he would have it ready by that time.”
