Mr Ade Omole, the Director of the dissolved APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Diaspora Directorate, says the President-elect, Sen. Bola Tinubu will win his case at the election tribunal over the Feb. 25 presidential election.
Omole said this on Monday when he received a property donation for the accommodation of Nigerians in Diaspora for the inauguration of the president-elect on May 29 in Abuja.
“There is nothing to worry about the opposition being in court to challenge our mandate.
“Because aggrieved opposition politicians have to ventilate their loss and frustration somewhere and the court is there for them to do that lawfully,” Omole said.
He said Tinubu’s emergence as President-elect in the presidential election was divinely ordained, especially when one considered what transpired ahead of the party’s primaries.
“The cash crunch and fuel scarcity ahead of the election were all obstacles on his way, yet he emerged as President-elect.
“So many things were frustrating our efforts ahead of the election, but we overcame the challenges because God is on our side and we comfortably won the election,” Omole said.
He said that most Nigerians knew Tinubu’s antecedents and track record when he was governor of Lagos State for two-terms, adding that Nigerians should expect more from him as President.

As the battle for the leadership of the 10th Senate gathers momentum, the All Progressives Congress’ zoning formula for the National Assembly Presiding offices by the National Working Committee still seems to be brewing problems as members of the National Assembly continue to reject it.
One of the major contenders for the lead seat in the hallowed chambers is the former Governor of Zamfara State, representing Zamfara West, Abdulaziz Yari who has declared interest in the Presidency of the Senate in line with the provisions of the constitution and not any zoning formula as directed by the Senator Adamu Abdullahi led National Working Committee.
Responding to questions from newsmen yesterday at the International Conference Centre, ICC, Abuja at the ongoing Induction Programme for Members-elect of the National Assembly organised by the National Assembly and National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS Yari said, “My aspiration for Presidency of the 10th Senate is covered by relevant provisions of the 1999 Constitution which to me, is superior to any other law or arrangement.”
“I am a loyal party man, nobody has told me that any position has been zoned to anywhere as far as the 10th National Assembly is concerned.

The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has voided the suspension of former Kaduna Governor, Senator Ahmed Makarfi.
Channels Television reports that Makarfi, a one-time PDP Acting National Chairman, was purportedly suspended by the Executive Committee of his Tudun Wada Ward in Makarfi Local Government Area.
However, in a statement on Monday, PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, said the purported suspension was inconsistent with provisions of the party’s constitution.
Ologunagba, who issued the statement on behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC), said that being a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC), Makarfi cannot be suspended by the Executive Committee of his Ward.
