If APC had picked its candidate from Abia North, Tinubu would have won the election in Abia – Dr. Maduka Okoro

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abia state, Dr. Maduka Okoro stated that if the All Progressive Congress (APC) had picked its candidate from Abia North, the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would have won the election in Abia State.

According to the report from Sun paper, Dr. Maduka Okoro said this while reacting to the claim that people expected the All Progressive Congress (APC) to do better than it did in the last election that was conducted in the state.

He said, “Everybody was clamoring that the governorship seat moves back to Abia North, everybody had in mind that APC would zone the ticket to Abia North but Emenike who is from the same LGA with T. A. Orji refused; he wanted to be governor. If APC had picked its candidate from Abia North, it would have the election; Bola Tinubu would have won the election in Abia”.
