The embattled factional Chairman of Labour Party (LP), Lamidi Apapa who was mobbed by other faction of the party at the election petition tribunal in Abuja on Wednesday has recounted his ordeal in the hands of the supporters of Abure.
According to politicsnigeria.com the factional Chairman of Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa while recounting his ordeal in the hands of those who rough handled him at the election petition tribunal Court in Abuja, said, if not for God, he would have died in Court.
“If not for God, I would have died in Court.” Apapa opened up after escaping lynching.
Recall, on Wednesday, the factional Chairman of Labour Party (LP), Lamidi Apapa who came to the election tribunal Court in Abuja to witness the proceeding of case filled by the party and its Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The supporters of Peter Obi and the sacked Chairman of Labour Party, Julius Abure mobbed Apapa, but for the quick intervention of the security operatives, was rescued from the people.
