Report Reveals How Peter Obi Defeated President-Elect

Report from the British Broadcast Corporation reveals that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi defeated the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded presidential election.

According to the BBC news, it said that the president-elect did not gather as many votes as he got in Rivers state as announced by the electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission, saying that results from the poll were altered and that could contribute to Bola Ahmed Tinubu emergence as president-elect.

The report also says that the Independent National Electoral Commission had decreased the votes of the Labour Party presidential candidate by 50,000 and increased the votes of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives by over 106,000 votes.

However, result from the Obio Akpor LGA as released by INEC, Tinubu total votes was 80,239 votes, but the BBC said it was just 17,293 votes and that of Peter Obi was 3,829 votes, but the BBC counted 74,033 votes.
