In wake of the outcome of the 2023 presidential election results, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George has advised Bola Tinubu to reveal where he is truly from now that he has emerged as president-elect.
In a recent interview, the elder statesman noted that Bola Tinubu, the president-elect is not from lagos state as he claims.
According to Punch, Bode George claimed that the former Lagos state governor is from Iragbiji in Osun state and not Lagos state.
The PDP chieftain however, noted that Bola Tinubu no longer has a reason to hide where he is truly from. According to him, the former Lagos state governor should say the truth and put Satan to shame.
Chief Bode George said “Based on my perception of what he did in my state here, I wish Nigeria the best of luck. Bola Tinubu is not from my state, he is claiming Lagos but that is not true. He should tell the truth and let the devil be ashamed. He should now come clean because, he is from Iragbiji in Osun state.”
