CHE 2-0 BVB: Three Best Players From Chelsea’s Win Over Borussia Dortmund
Chelsea overturned a one-goal deficit from the first leg to advance to the quarter-final of the Champions League at Borussia Dortmund’s expense. After a ten-minute delay to kick-off, goals from Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz secured an impressive 2-0 victory for Chelsea, who could have easily had a few more goals on another night.
Here are the three best players from the game
Joao Felix
Involved in two early chances, before shooting straight at Alexander Meyer from a great position. Faded in the second half and hooked.
Kai Havertz
Held his nerve to score from the spot at the second time of asking. Struck the inside of the post in Chelsea’s best chance of the first half and scored an emphatic disallowed goal.
Raheem Sterling
Nice link-up with Felix early on. He kept getting on the ball between the lines, like he has been ever since returning from injury. Takes his goal really well in the end. There were shouts on social media to take him off in the first-half but he proved himself in a big game once again.
