Graham Potter and his men advanced to the next stage of the UEFA Champions League competition after defeating Dortmund 2-1 on aggregate. The Blues will now switch their attention to the next game in the English Premier League where they will be at loggerheads with Leicester City at the weekend.
One player that has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is Frenkie de Jong.
According to reports coming from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Chelsea is weighing up a move for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong this summer.
The report has it that Chelsea is willing to pay up to £71.4m for the Dutch international footballer.
The report adds that De Jong still wants to remain a Barcelona player, but the club’s financial situation means he could be sold to raise much-needed funds. De Jong has made 30 appearances for Barcelona across all competitions this season scoring 2 goals and one assist in the process.
It remains to be seen if these reports are true.
