Ex-Barca Star, Griezmann Nets A Classic Goal For La Liga Giant In Massive 6-1 Home League Victory

Former Barcelona football club of Spain forward, Antoine Griezmann was astonishing tonight for Diego Simeone led Atletico Madrid team in their 24th league game of the season at home against Sevilla at the Metropolitano Stadium.

The France international was superb for the Rojiblancos at the heart of the attacking line in the whole 90 minutes duration of the game where he posed to be a big threat in the opposition box.

Antoine Griezmann in the game was directly involved in two of the six goals scored by his team courtesy of a classic goal and a brilliant assist which were instrumental in the massive win that placed them at the third spot on the table.

The host took a double lead courtesy of a brace from from Memphis Depay in the 23rd and 26th minute respectively before Youssef En Nesyri got the deficit reduced for the visitor just before the half time break, to make it two goals to one.

The host in the second half were more cordinated with their style of play as they got the lead extended in the 53rd minute with a goal from Antoine Griezmann to make it three goals to one, before Yannick Carrasco made it four goals to one in the 69th minute.

Former Chelsea star Alvaro Morata scored two straight goals in the 76th and 92nd minute respectively which wrapped up the massive win as it ended six goals to one at full time.

Antoine Griezmann with his superb and top notch delivery for the host will be hoping to maintain the standard in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
