From My Findings Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour Was Born In Lagos But He Cannot Speak Yoruba -Ayo Fayose

Ahead of this Saturday’s governorship election in Lagos State as well as different parts of the country, Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has claimed that the governorship candidate of the Labour party in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour Was Born In Lagos But Cannot Yoruba. 

Speaking during an interview with TVC this morning, Fayose said it is necessary for somebody that is seeking a political office to understand the language of the People. 

Fayose said Gbadebo is seriously lacking in that regard. 

Hear him “The candidate of the Labour party from my findings was born in Lagos but he cannot speak Yoruba. If he manages to win, they will get an interpreter for him. He can’t take advantage of Obi and say he will win the election.” Ayodele Fayose said. 

When asked whether language should be a prerequisite in electing leaders, the former Ekiti State governor has this to say “Why can you carry me to go and be a governor in Igbo Land. Or carry me to go and be a governor in Kano”
