G5 who could not deliver themselves for their senate bid, cannot be claiming glory in Atiku- Melaye

In a news article that was published by several news platforms yesterday, it was made known that, the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, yesterday while reacting to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s defeat during the last presidential election, said that, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, lost to the All Progressives Congress’ Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, because he did not take the warnings of the G-5 governors important when they were shooting.

However, while a former Nigerian senator and the spokesperson to the Peoples Democratic Party’s Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Dino Melaye, was reacting to this on his Twitter handle, he made it known that, the five aggrieved governors in the party, were not relevant in the just concluded presidential election and that was the reason three governors in the group, were defeated by their opponents in the National Assembly election.

Further talking, Dino Melaye said that the only Wike contributed to the election was thuggery and coercion of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

He said, “G5 has no relevance in just concluded presidential election. The G5 who could not deliver themselves for their senate bid cannot be the ones claiming glory in Atiku loss. Even Wike outside thuggery and coercion of INEC officials had nothing to contribute to APC votes in Rivers.”
