“Let The Results Uploaded In The BVAS Machines Be Used” – Protesting Youths to INEC Chairman (video)

Following the recently concluded election on the 25th February, 2023, the youths have gone out in mass to protest against the presidential and National Assembly results.

According to one of the protesters, they want the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, to make use of the results uploaded in the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).

Speaking further, the female protester said, we are peace loving youth and we want the growth of our Nation, all we ask of is our BVAS result.

Again she noted that the election wasn’t credible and free as promised by both the INEC Chairman and the sitting President, Muhammadu Buhari.

Additionally, the female protester said that she sacrificed a month in sensitizing the masses on the need to vote.

“We were told during orientation that the BVAS is very efficient, now where is the efficiency? How do we get accuracy when the BVAS itself cannot be accounted for?” She asked. Click here to watch the video.

She concluded by appealing to INEC to bring back our mandate and deliver it through the BVAS machine.

“Bring back our mandate and deliver it via that BVAS result so that our love will continue. However INEC want to get the result, they should go and get it because we have the original result.”
