LIV vs MNU: Reasons Why Manchester United will lose to Liverpool at Anfield
Liverpool will be in action later tonight against Manchester United as they aim to climb up the table & closer to European positions without further ado Below are the reasons why Manchester United will lose to Liverpool today;
Liverpool’s strong home record
Despite their poor start to the season, Jurgen Klopp’s side haven’t lost a game at home this season, yes they’ve struggled to pick up good results away from home,but their unbeaten home record in the English Premier League remains intact.
Liverpool are a tough nut to crack at Anfield with an hostile atmosphere as described as several opposition managers & would want to keep that record going against their bitter rivals.
Man United’s record away at Anfield
The last time Manchester United recorded a win against Liverpool at Anfield was back in January 17th 2016, with Wayne Rooney’s goal at that time securing all three points for the Manchester based outfit, but ever since they’ve struggled to secure wins and score goals at Anfield.
Their last seven visit to Liverpool’s home ground have all either ended in defeats or draws, which isn’t the news they would want to hear heading into the game.
Liverpool players are motivated
A lot of Liverpool players has talked tough ahead of tonight’s match, with Virgil Van Dijk, Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold all speaking to the media on how Liverpool plans to stop Manchester United’s in form attacker, Marcus Rashford and also get the win to boost their UEFA Champions League hopes.
It wouldn’t be easy but I believe they’ve learned from their mistakes from the first leg and are ready to take revenge.
