Professor Usman Yusuf, a public policy expert and People’s Democratic Party supporter, has said that both the PDP and the Labour Party are contesting the results of the 2023 presidential election.
Usman Yusuf has revealed that the PDP is planning to challenge the results of the 2023 presidential election as they are being announced, but the Labour Party would rather wait until Tinubu has been declared the winner before filing suit.
Usman Yusuf stated that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was not prepared to play the waiting game and hence began contesting the results of each individual state immediately after they were announced.
Usman Yusuf continued by stating that the PDP is of the opinion that the 2023 election was built on a foundation of illegality. The information revealed by Usman Yusuf seems to indicate that the Labour Party intends to file a legal challenge against the results of the election.
