Man United’s Next Five Games in All Competitions: Can They Keep Their Hope of a Quadruple Alive?

0

Manchester United is in a very good place currently after their Carabao Cup triumph. However, there isn’t time to rest on their laurels as they are still in the running for three other trophies.

The Red Devils are still competing in the FA Cup and they got to the round of 16 of the Europa League after beating Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate in the playoffs. Erik ten Hag’s men also have an outside chance of winning the English Premier League as they are just eight points behind Arsenal.

If they are to progress deep in those games, they need to shift their focus to the forthcoming games.

After their impressive Carabao Cup triumph on Sunday, the Red Devils would be hosting West Ham United in the fifth round of the FA Cup. This game would take place on Wednesday at 8:45 pm.

After that, the Red Devils would be back in action in the English Premier League as they visit Liverpool. The game would be played on Sunday, 5th of March at 5:30 pm.

Manchester United would then shift focus to a mouthwatering Europa League clash against Real Betis. The Red Devils lost to the Spanish La Liga side earlier this season in a friendly. This time around, Erik ten Hag’s men would be more equipped and a win is unnegotiable if they are to keep their hope of winning the quadruple alive.

After the first leg of the game against Real Betis, Southampton would visit the Red Devils in an English Premier League game before Erik ten Hag’s men would travel to Spain for the second leg of their Europa League clash against Real Betis.

The next five games are crucial for the Red Devils as those games involve all the three competitions they are still vying for. A win in the game against West Ham United and the games against Real Betis would see the Red Devils progress to the quarter-final of the FA Cup and the Europa League respectively. Getting at least three points in their two English Premier League games would still keep them in the title race.
