The 2022–2023 English Premier League season has entered the business end as teams fight for positions on the league table, some fighting to win the league or make it to next season’s Champions League by securing one of the top 4 positions, while others are fighting against relegation.
Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho has been nominated as one of the best performers in the league for the month of February, as he is joined on the list by Fulham goalkeeper Leno, Manchester United’s in-form striker Marcus Rashford, Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins, Fulham’s Rondon, and Tottenham Hotspur right-back Emerson Royal.
Kelechi Iheanacho scored two goals and supplied three assists in four games in February, earning his spot as one of the best players in the league during that period.
Marcus Rashford, who had an impressive month and was seen by many as the favorite to win the award, scored five goals and provided no assists in four games.
Who do you think deserves this award? Don’t you think Kelechi Iheanacho, who was unselfish by giving three assists and scoring two, deserves it more than Marcus Rashford, who scored only five goals with no assists? Make your opinions heard in the comments section below.
