The 2023 Presidential election has come and gone, as Millions of Nigerians voted for their preferred candidate. The Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was declared the winner of the election by INEC. The Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar came 2nd, while the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter obi came 3rd.
However, aggrieved with the results of the Presidential election, the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, led a protest today at the INEC Headquarters in Abuja. He was accompanied by other PDP leaders, including party members. Some Nigerians have taken to their twitter handle to react to the protest. Reacting to it, a twitter user with the handle name ‘Rule Of Law’ commented, “This will end up achieving nothing. The president elect has been announced, and nothing can change it”.
