The President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has hailed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the conduct of the 2023 Presidential election, according to the report released today by the DAILY POST.
Recall that Tinubu was declared as the winner of the 2023 presidential election the Chairman of the INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, as he defeated Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of Labour Party among other presidential candidates that took part in the 2023 presidential election, according to the past report.

Speaking on Wednesday shortly after he was announced the winner of last Saturday’s presidential election, Tinubu “stated this while giving his acceptance speech on the results of the election on Wednesday”. “He commended INEC for a credible election, as he further described the election as credible. In addition, he noted that the international observers also acknowledged the credibility of the election”, based on the report.
However, Tinubu in his statement also “said Nigerians have created biggest democracy and we should be proud of this”, according to the report released today by the DAILY POST.
