Rampant Liverpool inflict heaviest defeat on Man. United

Rampant Liverpool demolished Manchester United 7-0 at Anfield on Saturday to move fifth on the English Premier League table.

The debacle is United’s heaviest defeat in the premier league in 92 years.

Liverpool were clinical and buoyed by the wizardry of Mohamed Salah, United had no chance and could not tame the Red’s attack.

This is Liverpool’s best performance in the league so far this season.

The homers opened scoring on 43 minutes after Andrew Robertson laid the ball off to Cody Gakpo, who shot from close range into the bottom right corner, leaving the goalkeeper helpless.

Liverpool doubled two minutes after the restart. Harvey Elliott swung the ball deep into the box and found Darwin Nunez unmarked, and his close-range header flew past the keeper into the left side of the goal.
Three minutes later, Mohamed Salah teed up Cody Gakpo inside the box and he rolled the ball into the bottom left corner and past David de Gea to make it 3-0.
Salah scored his first goal on 66th minute after he got to the ball in front of the goal and his strike went in off the crossbar.
It was 5-0 for the homers on 75th minute. Jordan Henderson played a neat lofted pass into the box for Darwin Nunez, who beat the defender in the air and planted a header into the right side of the goal from close range.
Salah added his second goal seven minutes to duration time. He pounced on a loose ball inside the box and beats the goalkeeper with a shot inside the right post.
Substitute Roberto Firmino who came in few minutes later made it 7-0 for Liverpool two minutes to duration time. He latched on to a precise pass deep inside the box from Mohamed Salah, and he beat the goalkeeper with a low shot into the middle of the goal. He makes it 7:0.
