Obi visits Abia Tuesday to campaign for LP gov candidate.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the just concluded 2023 presidential election, Mr Peter Obi, will be in Abia State on Tuesday.
Obi will be in Abia state to solicit support for the governorship candidate of the party in the State, Alex Otti.
He is expected to go to Aba and Umuahia, the state capital, to thank his supporters for voting for him during the election.
I was not against Igbos voting Obi – Umahi.

The Ebonyi State, Governor David Umahi, on Monday, said he does not condemn the South-East Zone for voting massively for Mr Peter Obi during the February 25, 2023 presidential elections.
Umahi stated this at the Ebonyi International Airport, Onueke, in the Ezza South Local Government Area of the state, while addressing stakeholders and people of Ezza clan.

The Labour Party (LP) says it does not intend to align with any political party ahead of the governorship and state assembly elections.
Julius Abure, national chairman of LP, in a statement on Tuesday, said the party did not instruct any state chapter to liase with or support the candidate of another party.
He called on supporters to vote for candidates of the LP in the forthcoming polls.
