Peter Obi To Address Nigerians ‘Shortly’
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi says he will address Nigerians and the international community over the outcome of Saturday’s elections.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu defeated Obi and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Atiku Abubakar in the keenly-contested poll.
While the LP and others have rejected the outcome of the exercise, the former Anambra State governor said he intends to address the people soon.

My Victory Is For All Nigerians—Tinubu
Nigeria’s President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has said his victory in the just concluded presidential elections is for all Nigerians.
Tinubu said this on Wednesday during the presentation of Certificate of Return to him and the Vice President Elect, Kashim Shettima by Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu on Wednesday in Abuja.

Tinubu while extending the olive branch to those that lost out in the race urged them to team up with him to build a better Nigeria.

You’ve 48hrs to review result, LP candidate tells INEC
Candidate of the Labour Party for Okigwe North Federal Constituency, Imo State, Chikwem Onuoha has called for the review of the result declared for the February 25 House of Representatives poll held in the area.
Briefing journalists in Owerri, Wednesday, Onuoha described the result announced for the election as height of criminality.

He said the people of the constituency have given INEC 48 hours to activate the process of reviewing the result or face the wrath of the people.
Onuoha, who claimed he won the election, alleged that figures were manufactured and allocated to political parties in areas election did not hold.
Don’t allow PDP ‘stain your white’, Fayose advises Peter Obi
Former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose has advised the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the just concluded election, Peter Obi to run away from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to avoid suffering the same misfortune they currently suffer.

Recall that both the PDP and the Labour Party held a joint press conference on Tuesday in what seemed like an alliance to call for the cancellation of the presidential election that held on Saturday over INEC’s failure to upload results to its server directly from polling units.
Obi who was Atiku’s running mate in 2019, left the PDP to run under Labour Party, and Fayose has now advised that his remaining relevant depends on him dissociating and maintaining his distance from the PDP.

A large number of supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi on Wednesday staged a protest at the Federal Capital Territory, over alleged manipulation of the Saturday election.
The protesters who are largely youths, converged at the Unity Fountain Abuja on Wednesday morning to demand the cancellation of the alleged altered presidential election results.

The Labour Party’s National Campaign Manager, Isaac Balami who spoke with DAILY POST at the protest ground, alleged that the party agents have results different from what the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC announced.
He said, “We are here to activate the process of getting back out stolen mandate. We believe and we have it on record that APC did not win this election.
